1000 SAN JOSE, CA. - April 6, 2009 -- A10 Networks®
today unveiled the AX 1000, a new entry-level model
in the AX Series Advanced Traffic Manager family.
The AX 1000 is ideal for enterprise server farms
and delivers competitive Web application server
performance where cost is a key consideration. AX
1000 is designed to meet critical business
requirements in an energy-saving "green" form
factor. The AX 1000's maximum power consumption is
only 158 Watts when all ports are running traffic
concurrently.
"The AX 1000 delivers us a high-performance server load balancer in a small footprint that can easily handle large volume, 'Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) scale' network traffic," said Rich Groves, principal architect for Microsoft. "The AX 1000 is an invaluable platform to help us research the traffic patterns for some of the Internet's largest worm outbreaks."
